For her transformation, Alexandra Levy called the Angelica Chandelier the “crown jewel” of the room, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. She highlighted its solid brass construction, translucent bulbs, and dimmer compatibility: “It’s adjustable, made of solid brass, with stunning translucent bulbs, and it’s compatible with a dimmer switch,” she says.
For a moody, modern, organic look, Alexandra used a dark gray lime wash technique, emphasizing its affordability and ease: “It’s affordable, quick, and easy enough to do yourself,” she notes. Finishing touches included an electric fireplace, Coretec flooring for a luxurious but low-maintenance feel, nature-inspired art, and warm-toned furnishings—creating a sophisticated and welcoming space.
The Big Reveal
The moment we’ve all been waiting for! After a month of hard work—designing, measuring, sourcing, and decorating—the transformation is ready to be revealed. Alexandra walks Kate into her renewed living space. When the blindfold comes off, Kate’s reaction is pure joy: "Oh my god, it’s so beautiful!" her voice filled with emotion. "Thank you so much for doing this for me. I absolutely love it. It’s everything I hoped for."
