Frequently asked questions about Modern Cordless Table Lamps
What is a cordless table lamp?
What size are these lamps, and where do they fit?
What finishes and materials are in the range?
How do charging and the controls work?
How do I care for one, and can it go outside?
The right spot for a small lamp is rarely the spot with an outlet. These cordless table lamps run on a rechargeable battery and lift in one hand, so placement follows the room rather than the wiring. Designer pieces sized for a dining table, a console or a bathroom shelf.
Three lamps, no cords
Aris is the compact one, 5 inches across and 11 tall in brushed gold, gunmetal black or satin nickel, with touch dimming across three color temperatures. Dara and Vera are the sculptural pair, cut from yellow travertine stone with aluminum, fixed at warm white 3000K and also touch-dimmed. Dara stands 13.4 inches, Vera 11.
Run time, charging and output
The travertine lamps carry a 5000 mAh battery rated up to 8 hours at full brightness and over 16 hours at half, so dimming buys the evening. Output is 300 lumens on the two larger designs, 180 on the smallest, with CRI 90 across all three. Charging runs at 5V from the supplied cable, so an overnight top-up is the simplest routine.
Tables, shelves and bedsides
Indoors these earn a place on dining tables, bedsides, consoles and bathroom shelves, anywhere warm light is wanted without a cord crossing the surface. All three are rated IP20, so they belong inside rather than out in the weather. As the movable layer they sit alongside fixed lighting: corded modern table lamps hold the permanent positions, while modern bedroom lighting covers the ceiling and wall layers.
Start from the surface with no outlet, then choose metal or stone. Each product page lists exact dimensions, battery figures and finishes.
