A garden is not lit the way a room is. The job is a few placed moments, a path you can read, a tree lit from below, a boundary wall marking the edge, with real dark left between them.

What the garden range covers

Meadow is the path light, in three sizes and two base designs, wired at line voltage or 12V. Beam and Vesper are solar lamps, Beam in a rattan weave. Haylen and Harper are the wall lights, 12 to 94 inches, in solar, sensor, smart and RGB versions. Cedar leads the outdoor lanterns and doubles as a side table.

Brightness, warmth and spacing

Keep output gentle, 50 to 200 lumens per fixture. Warm white at 3000K is the standard across the range and keeps planting green after dark. Mount wall lights at 66 to 72 inches and space path lights 6 to 8 feet apart on alternating sides. Stop one fixture earlier than you think; the dark between the pools is what makes a garden read at night.

Building the scheme in layers

Start at the edges, with a run of wall lights on the house and fence walls. Add path lights along the routes people actually walk, then choose two or three features worth lighting. Solar lamps fill the beds no cable reaches, and the pathway lights and outdoor solar lights collections extend the same warm white where wiring does not go.
