Haylen is a single slim line of light on an exterior wall. Set either side of a front door, along a garage or down a garden wall, it reads as part of the architecture as much as a light fixture.

Six versions of one design

Every Haylen shares the same narrow profile and is built for outdoor weather, and Haylen, Haylen Light Sensor and Haylen Solar carry an IP65 waterproof rating. What changes between versions is how the light is controlled. Haylen dims across warm white (3000K), neutral white (4500K) and cool white (6000K) from its included remote. Haylen RGB adds seven colors and 358 light effects. Haylen Smart and Haylen RGB Smart run from the MOD LIGHTING app, with schedules and scenes. Haylen Light Sensor switches on at dusk and off at dawn, and Haylen Solar needs no wiring.

Choosing a version

Start with power and control. Where there is a junction box and you want to adjust the light by hand, Haylen and its remote cover it, and one remote can run several units. Where the lights should follow a schedule, choose a Smart version. Where the light should look after itself, Haylen Light Sensor reacts to daylight. Where there is no wiring at all, Haylen Solar runs from its own panel on a 10-meter cable. The smart outdoor lights page holds the app-controlled versions.

Installation

The wired versions are hardwired to a standard junction box, and each unit includes a 4 by 4 inch cover plate. Haylen Solar mounts with no wiring, connecting directly to its battery and solar panel. Width, color, wire length and a 12V or 24V low-voltage version can be customized through our contact form; open box units cannot be customized.
