Frequently asked questions about Boho Rattan Chandelier
What defines a boho light fixture in this collection?
What pieces make up the range?
Where do boho ceiling lights work best?
What materials and finishes are used?
What size should I choose, and how do I clean a woven chandelier?
A rattan chandelier hangs where every eye lands, so the weave has to earn the position. These four pieces are knitted by hand from natural fiber, and each turns a single bulb into a soft, ambient glow rather than a point of light.
Four woven chandeliers
Amara, Liora and Elva are knitted from bamboo over solid brass, while Isla uses hemp rope in an open, sculptural weave. The three with published dimensions all measure 23 1/2 inches across; what changes is the depth, from 15 inches on Amara to 27 1/2 on Isla. Each takes one replaceable E26 bulb at warm white 3000K, so the brightness is yours to change later.
Sizing and hanging
For a starting diameter, add the room's length and width in feet and read the sum as inches, which puts a 12 by 14-foot dining room near 26. Woven shades read larger than the tape measure says, so where a room sits between two sizes the smaller usually settles better. Hang 30 to 36 inches above a table. All four are dimmable.
Where boho lighting belongs
One woven piece is usually the whole boho intervention a room needs, over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or in a bedroom. The style crosses over more easily than its name suggests. Around it, the dining room light fixtures and bedroom light fixtures ranges carry the metal and glass, and the modern chandeliers collection holds the sharper statements.
Choose the silhouette first and the size second. With one bulb behind it, the quality of the weave is what carries the room.
